About
Us
CURATORS collaborates with forward-thinking entities to build pilot experiences that improve, inform and inspire change in growing cities around the world.
We are a small team of multidisciplinary designers from across the globe, tied by American education and professional work. In 2020, shortly before the pandemic, we sought to explore and question ways to address these concerns of growing cities through research, project and practice. Beginning with the City of Charlotte, what emerged from this process are interventions posed to change the way people in cities find shelter, access clean water, good food, travel, and work.
Our
Mission
We seek to strengthen civic engagement and establish equity through design interventions and the building of tools, collaborations, partnerships and services. At our core, we aim to build purposeful relationships between communities and organizations through creative ingenuity and by promoting technological advancement.
Diverse
Solutions
Our solutions are driven by contextual research and evidence-driven design to ensure we promote collaborative value-generation against a backdrop of global, regional and local areas of concern. While the challenges that link us offer significant starting points, it is the aspirations of fellow human beings that inspire us.
